The Studio

Ideally located in the heart of Europe’s capital, La Savonnerie is designed to meet the highest technical and acoustic expectations while being a welcoming place for artists and producers to be fully inspired and creative.

We had at heart to create a tool that breaks the traditional boundaries between musicians and technicians and allows everyone to be fully part of the creative process.

We therefore opted for a modular open-space concept designed by our friends at Northward Acoustics that allows to either work all doors open or to separate the control room to meet perfect mixing conditions.

The Old & the New

Wanting to take the best out of both worlds, we decided to make the Neve 5106 combined with Merging Technologies flagship HORUS converter the heart of our studio.

While the Neve console brings timeless color and warmth to the recordings the Horus converter features 32 high-end pristine preamplifiers and offers unprecedented flexibility allowing any laptop to become the studio’s brain using a simple ethernet connection.

In other words, any artists / producers are welcome to work on their own station, taking projects from home to the studio without compromising their workflow or setup at any point of the process.

Being musicians, we know that what you want to find in a proper studio is outstanding recording material and most of all, gear.

Lots of it.

We’re happy to give the instruments, microphones and outboard gear we collected over the years a new home at La Savonnerie.

Everything is fully available to our customers free of charge. For a complete list, please click HERE.

We’ve built La Savonnerie’s 1st floor into a cosy place for our clients to relax while the work is done downstairs.

It offers a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, living-room, bedroom, bathroom and  laundry. It can easily accommodate 4 to 6 people. Of course all the rooms are wired to the studio and can be used as potential recording spaces.
